Adlers Bio-Energy Limited is a public non-government company that has been a significant player in India’s grain-based distillery sector since its incorporation on 28th December 2005. Headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, with operations at Sr. No. 284 (B), Village Gaurgaon, Taluka Kallamb, District Osmanabad, our company stands committed to producing high-quality grain-based spirits while embracing sustainable and value-driven practices.

With nearly two decades of expertise, Adlers Bio-Energy Limited has grown into a trusted name in the production and bottling of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Country Liquor. Our operations cover a comprehensive range of products and by-products that contribute both to the beverage and industrial alcohol sectors. Our core products include:

  • Rectified Spirit (RS) / Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA)

  • Ethanol (for fuel blending and industrial use)

  • Pharma-grade Spirit

  • Indian Made Foreign Liquor (Blending & Bottling Only)

  • Country Liquor

  • Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) – A value-added by-product

  • DDGS / DWGA – Protein-rich animal feed by-products

Our distillery operations are grain-based, ensuring efficient use of agricultural produce while supporting farmers and rural employment in the region.

Our Process

Adlers Bio-Energy operates a fully integrated grain-based distillery that utilizes modern fermentation, distillation, and dehydration technologies. Grains like maize, broken rice, and sorghum are first cleaned and milled before undergoing liquefaction, saccharification, and fermentation. The resulting mash is distilled using a multi-pressure distillation column to obtain Rectified Spirit (RS) or Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA).

From there, the product stream is further refined into various end-use spirits:

  • ENA is used for producing high-grade IMFL.

  • Ethanol is dehydrated and purified to meet the biofuel blending requirements as per Government mandates.

  • Pharma-grade Spirit is processed under strict quality standards for pharmaceutical applications.

Value-added by-products such as CO₂ (captured and purified) and DDGS (Dried Distillers Grains with Soluble) are harnessed for commercial use — significantly minimizing waste and promoting circular production.

Driving Economic and Environmental Value

Our operations reflect a strong alignment with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) initiative.

By producing ethanol from grains, Adlers Bio-Energy contributes directly to:

  • Reducing crude oil imports by promoting ethanol blending with petrol.

  • Supporting the National Bio-Energy Policy and India’s climate action commitments.

  • Boosting the rural economy through the procurement of local grains and employment in semi-urban and rural areas.

  • Generating revenue streams for allied industries, including livestock feed (via DDGS), CO₂ bottling, and chemical/pharma-grade solvents.

As India transitions to greener fuel and circular industry models, Adlers Bio-Energy Limited is proud to be a catalyst in this transformation — combining industry-grade quality with sustainability, rural empowerment, and energy security.
